Competiton Lap Pool

Always Tile & Stone was contracted to complete one of the most technically demanding tile installations in our portfolio: a competition-grade lap pool at the Mason City Aquatic Center. This project involved full-surface tile installation with epoxy grout—no plaster, no compromise.

Before tile work could begin, our team had to remediate major concrete defects from a poor initial pour, grinding and leveling several inches of substrate to properly prep the base. The surface was then waterproofed and tiled entirely with precision-aligned lane markers and epoxy grout—built to Olympic standards and long-term performance.
